Setting up and properly maintaining an aquarium can seem like quite a daunting task, which is why we’ve decided to create a series of How-To’s. This will be a multi-part blog series intended to educate you on aquarium ownership, beginning with the pre-purchase research and ending with your recurring maintenance routine.

We will continue to post the next step on our blog until we reach the conclusion. The schedule and list of blog posts are as follows:

  10. Conclusion

Saltwater aquariums are all the rage right now so this first “Do-It-Yourself” series will be catered to those wanting to start their first marine aquarium. Later on down the line, we will delve into the world of freshwater aquariums. Don’t worry, this is just the first DIY guide of many to come. The aquarium industry has grown exponentially in the last 30 years and there are no signs of it slowing down anytime soon. Every year, new species are discovered, research is further detailed and trade technology is advanced. At the turn of the century, LED bulbs were nowhere to be found in the aquarium hobby and now, they are considered one of the best light fixtures available.  In a few months, we will most likely update this DIY series to include all of the new aquarium advancements to keep you up to date!
